Cruise Ship Passengers- Walking Directions

  • For cruise ship passengers arriving in Kailua-Kona, we can meet at our Buggy storage shop located at 74-5596 Pawai Pl., Kailua-Kona, HI 96740. It's about a 10-15 minute walk from the Kailua Pier. You can also take an Uber or Taxi from the pier.

  • Walking directions from the pier:

    1. Walk toward the main street Ali’i Drive and Palani Road. Turn left, past the King Kamehameha Marriott.

    2. At the traffic light, use the crosswalk, to cross Kuakini Highway, then turn left onto Kuakini Highway.

    3. Walk towards the Kona Brewing Company. Look for the large stainless-steel brewing tank. Take the stairs next to Kona Brewing and continue past Puna Chocolate Company.

    4. When you reach Pawai Place, turn left. Kona Town Storage will be on your left. Look for the Big Island Buggy sign on the fence at the top of the driveway.

    5. Important: Do not follow Google Maps for a walking route. It may take you on a longer walk around the block. Use the  stairs by the stainless-steel brewing tank for the shortcut.

Delivery Option for Cruise Ship Passengers

For added convenience, we can deliver your buggy near the Kailua Pier. We will meet across the street from the pier at the King Kamehameha Marriott, just past the main entrance. Delivery and pickup: $40 total.

If your cruise ship cancels its Kona port call or tender service to the Kailua Pier, your rental will be fully refunded.
